Background
A land-swap facilitated by Western Land Group resulted in the Three Sisters Ditch water right being conveyed to Colorado Water Trust in 2010.
Tool
Permanent Projects
A water right on the creek, historically diverted for irrigation, was strategically retired so the water may remain in the river. It supports four existing Instream Flow reaches and aids Colorado Parks and Wildlife and US Forest Service efforts to recover native cutthroat populations in a 13-mile reach of wilderness canyon.
